Entries for Excellence in Governance Awards open till July 20

The third edition of The Indian Express Excellence in Governance Awards will be held next year, for which entries are now open till July 20, 2024. The awards, instituted five years ago, acknowlede district magistrates across the country for innovative projects implemented by them in their areas ranging from technology to women and child welfare, health and education to the implementation of Central schemes.
The awards are spread over 18 categories — education, healthcare, gender and inclusion, social welfare, agriculture, e-governance, skill development, MSME & industries, start-up and innovations, sustainability, water, energy, resource utilisation from Central & state schemes, disaster resilience and management, law and order and public amenities, and a jury special.
