BTS’ Jin has no plans to act, reveals he has been recording songs after being discharged from military: ‘Wait a little more…’
Jin, BTS Army’s oldest band member, who was recently discharged from his military duties, revealed he has been working on songs but has no plans to act in films.
J-Hope’s return from the military is just around the corner, and no one’s more hyped than his bandmate Jin, BTS Army’s oldest band member. The recently discharged singer recently interacted with fans on Weverse, offering a glimpse into his busy life. During the interaction, Jin revealed that he’s putting his own music on hold to support band member Jimin’s upcoming album release. When a fan asked, “Waiting for actor Jin,” Jin responded, “I don’t have any plans to act. Sorry.” When another fan inquired, “When is the Super Tuna song going to be released???,” the “Awake” hitmaker, answered, “Jiminie’s album is going to be released, so I decided it would be (good) manners to postpone it for now.”
The conversation turned to J-Hope’s return when a fan mentioned the upcoming discharge. Jin playfully responded, “Wow, Hope-ah, there’s not long left. You better get ready to work hard too! I only took one day off after I got out!” J-Hope, who joined the military on April 18, last year is likely to get discharged in October 2024.
Jin, discharged last month, was met with a heartwarming reunion with his fellow BTS members, who were all given a day off from their military service to celebrate his homecoming. Jin, also known as Kim Seokjin, recently completed his mandatory 18-month military service, organised a special meet-and-greet session for his fans, where they will had the opportunity to hug him in person. After reuniting with his bandmates, he took to Weverse to make the announcement and clarify misunderstandings surrounding the event.
